Fibromyalgia

What is it and what are the causes?

Fibromyalgia is characterized by pain and stiffness in muscles, ligaments, tendons and fibers. The pain intensifies when pressed on certain points. It is also accompanied by intense fatigue, weakness and sleep disorders. Symptoms are related to the weather and worse from cold and moisture, or physical strain. Specific case of fibromyalgia has not been identified.
