Arthritis

What is it and what are the causes?

It is a general term for inflammation of joints, resulting in pain, stiffness and swelling. It is a symptom of several diseases. Here we handle the two most common types of arthritis: Osteoarthritis: degeneration of joint cartilage, caused by aging. Rheumatoid arthritis: inflammation of the synovial membrane, composed of liquid lubricant within the joint.
When to go to the doctor?

If you notice that your joints stiff, swollen and red.
Indications for daily life

Balanced diet and a sufficient amount of water are essential. Eat more foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids such as salmon, Tonu, sardines and chicken wings. Take regular exercise: swimming, walking, dancing, etc. ... Take vitamins C, D and E, omega-3 fatty acids, fish oil, and condroitinsulfat glucozaminosulfat, if osteoarthritis. Keep your weight under control. Make mud baths, sand baths or hydrotherapy.
What should you do

Avoid exposure to cold and wet. Never sleep on the ground and do not stay long on a stone. Avoid wet rain. If they happens, change your clothes immediately. The house should be warm and dry. Avoid fatty or fried foods. Do not eat raw or cold foods. Eat fewer lemons and oranges. Do not eat too many sweets. Avoid alcohol.
Traditional Remedies

Polyester underwear can reduce joint pain, due to static electricity.

If the joint is red and swollen, use fennel with salt: Ingredients: 50 g cumin, 250 g of salt. Preparation: easy fried in a pan with cumin salt. Put them in a canvas (cotton) and keep them on the painful place one hour, twice daily for five days. Every time you use other ingredients. Use care with hot salt.

If the joint is red and swollen, use boiled rice with salt: Ingredients: 4 parts of boiled rice, some salt. Preparation: Mix the rice with salt. Put everything in a pot and keep two or three minutes to steam. Wait until the temperature drops so as not to disturb them. Put mixture into a canvas (cotton) and hold a painful place for an hour, reheating-1 if needed. Repeat the procedure once a day for five days.

If the joint is red and swollen, use ginger: Place in a squeezer 30 g of ginger and half a cup of hot water and make ginger juice. Soak a piece of gauze in the juice and squeeze it, then put it on the painful spot. Repeat two or three times a day. If allergic reaction occurs, quit this remedy.

If the joint is red and swollen, rub it with vinegar and green onion: Ingredients: 500 ml of rice vinegar, 30 g of green onions. Preparation: Cut green onions into pieces about 2 inches, put them in a pot with vinegar and let it boil. Let cool until you can withstand the temperature. Soak a piece of gauze and rub the painful areas for 10-30 minutes. Heat the vinegar again, if needed. Do a test first and if there is an allergic reaction, stop to this remedy.

Choose any of the combinations below that suits you and apply it once a day. If the joint is still hot and swollen, not a massage.

Press, knead, rub or tap the painful point for two minutes. Depending on its location, the corresponding points massage. If you hurt your finger or wrist, press and knead gently for two minutes recess located at the intersection point of the line wrist ring line when the wrist is bent up a bit.
